PROJECT SUMMARY
Developed as a visual translation of Demmers’ sonic identity, this physical format system was built to mirror the weight, repetition, and tonal density of the music itself. The work treats typography and iconography as rhythmic elements — establishing tension, release, and structural cadence across LP, cassette, and CD formats.
Rather than designing static covers, the project constructs a modular system that behaves like a composition. The central mark functions as a recurring motif. The grid provides tempo. Negative space creates pause. Across formats, the visual hierarchy maintains intensity without distortion, preserving the character of the music at every scale.
The objective was not decoration, but alignment, ensuring the physical object carries the same energy and discipline as the recorded material.
LP (12” Vinyl)
The LP serves as the primary movement. Scale is used to create impact. The vertical grid quietly establishes tempo, all the while controlled typography supports without overpowering. The spine extends the composition, which maintains structural continuity across panels.
cassette
The cassette compresses the system into a tighter measure without sacrificing clarity. Visual elements are calibrated to retain rhythmic balance under heavy constraint. The hierarchy remains firm, preserving intensity within a reduced physical space.

CD (Maxi-Single)
The CD iteration maintains alignment and cadence at a smaller scale. All the Spatial relationships remain consistent, ensuring the system does not fracture or weaken when condensed. The identity adapts structurally while maintaining the tonal weight of the original composition.
